Hi, I’m Angie.

I’ve overcome trauma and I know you can too. In 2012, a life-changing accident led me to being stuck in a constant state of fear and anxiety.

Yoga opened the door to feeling my body again and iRest gave me concrete tools to relieve insomnia, nightmares, intrusive thoughts, and other mental health symptoms.

I know these tools can be helpful to you too. They’re based on research and they work:

Trauma Informed Yoga

  • The trauma informed yoga we teach is a way for you to explore breathing, moving, strengthening, stretching, and resting.
  • We are trained in trauma informed yoga through the Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute, which was developed with Bessel van der Kolk (trauma psychiatrist and best-selling author of The Body Keeps the Score).

iRest Meditation

  • iRest Meditation is a simple form of guided meditation that is easy to learn and can be done by anyone.
  • iRest is taught in U.S. military hospitals, hospices, correctional facilities, and other wellness settings.
  • in 2010, iRest was endorsed by the U.S. Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence.
